beauty actress Mamta Mohandas is getting engaged on 11.11.11 to her Bahrain based childhood friend.
The groom hails from Bahrain and the details of him as well as his whereabouts will be announced on the day of their engagement the wedding is expected to take place early 2012 which is revealed by the wedding sources. It is known that the groom is very close to Mamta and her family since her childhood days. On knowing the interest of the couple, both the families approved the relationship.
Mamta is debuted into the Malayalam movie industry through Mayookham directed by Hariharan, which was a flop but got the attention through Lanka against Suresh Gopi. She acted in many Malayalam movies along with few Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada flicks. She has received the Film fare Award for the Best Actress in 2010 for the Sathyan Anthikaadu movie Kadha Thudarunnu in Malayalam and Film fare Award for the Best Female Playback singer in 2007 in Telugu. In Tamil, she made her debut through the film “Sivapathikaram” and was later seen in “Guru En Aalu” and so on. In Malayalam, she has done films with almost all the leading stars. Apart from that, she has sung some Songs. She would now be seen in the Tamil film “Thadaiyara Thaaka”. In between this, there is news that, she is getting ready for her Marriage. Mamta’s parents are in search of suitable Alliance for her. If everything works out according to the plans, she would be getting married by 2012.
